Berlin

Berlin is the capital of Germany and a major center for history, politics, and culture. Known for its pivotal role in 20th-century events, Berlin was divided during the Cold War by the Berlin Wall, which still stands in parts as a memorial. I visited the Wall and basically just walked around, taking in the city’s streets, squares, and historic neighborhoods.

A few facts about Berlin: it has more bridges than Venice, over 180 museums, and landmarks like the Brandenburg Gateare symbols of its turbulent and rich history.
